Columbus and Black Art: Where We Are, Where We Are Not
A distinguished cross-section of Columbus creatives and organizers have an open and frank discussion about black art in Columbus. Moderated by writer/organizer Scott Woods, the panel will dissect the community in which black art attempts to leave its mark, and what barriers prevent such work from achieving its potential, and what opportunities exist to enhance the mission and reach of black art.
The august panel includes numerous creatives exhibiting work throughout the course of the Holler series: Sheri Neale (Maroon Arts Group), Marshall L. Shorts (Soulo Theory Creative), Lisa M. McLymont (artist), Bryan Christopher Moss (artist), Dr. Mark Lomax II (composer), Speak Williams (speaker/poet), and Qamil (musician).
